Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at synthforge.life (the “Site”) operated by Synth Forge Studio Inc. (“Synth Forge”, “we”, “us”). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Professional services delivered to clients are governed by separate statements of work, master services agreements and related contracts. Where those documents conflict with these Terms regarding client work, the contract controls.
1. About Synth Forge
Synth Forge Studio Inc. is an applied-AI studio incorporated in Ontario, Canada, with a studio at 171 East Liberty Street, Suite 300, Toronto, ON M6K 3P6. We design and build generative-AI systems, LLM applications, content generation pipelines and synthetic media for client organizations. We are a professional services firm — not a software product you subscribe to, not a training course, and not an investment or income opportunity.
2. Brand and domain clarifications
To avoid misunderstanding:
- The domain suffix .life is branding only. Synth Forge is not a wellness, lifestyle, meditation or coaching brand.
- “Synth” refers to synthetic and generative content and data produced with human oversight — not a music synthesizer, audio plugin or entertainment product.
- “Forge” is a metaphor for a studio that designs and builds AI systems. We are not a blacksmithing or metalworking business, a gaming mod platform, or a Git repository hosting service (GitHub/GitLab-style “forge”).
- We do not create deepfakes, voice impersonation or other deceptive synthetic media intended to mislead viewers or listeners.
3. Website use
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or data;
- Introduce malware, scrape the Site in a manner that impairs performance, or misuse contact forms;
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Synth Forge;
- Use Site content to imply guaranteed AI outcomes we do not promise.
We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.
4. Intellectual property
Site content — text, layout, logos, graphics and design — is owned by Synth Forge Studio Inc. or licensed to us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.
Client deliverables and ownership of custom work product are defined in client contracts, not these Terms.
5. Informational content — no professional advice
Site content describes our services and approach. It is general information only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax or investment advice. Case studies and metrics are illustrative of past work, not promises of future performance. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
6. AI and results disclaimer
Synth Forge provides professional AI consulting, design and development services, including generative-AI and LLM applications, content generation, synthetic media and related engineering for client organizations. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue, cost savings, accuracy, search rankings, website traffic, lead volume or error-free operation of any AI system.
AI models and generative systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased or off-brand output. Human review and oversight are required. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including data quality, project scope, integration complexity, budget, model behaviour and how end users employ the system.
Any case studies, examples or figures on the Site reflect past client engagements under specific conditions. They are not forecasts. This disclaimer applies to Site content and general descriptions of our work; your statement of work may contain additional limitations.
7. Enquiries and contact form
Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship or obligate us to accept a project. We reserve the right to decline work that falls outside our expertise, conflicts with our responsible-AI policies or involves prohibited uses (including deceptive synthetic media, guaranteed-ROI claims we cannot stand behind, or “AI income” schemes).

8. Third-party links and tools
The Site may link to third-party websites or reference external tools and model providers. We do not control third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SYNTH FORGE STUDIO INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (C$100). LIMITATIONS IN CLIENT CONTRACTS FOR PAID SERVICES ARE SET FORTH IN THOSE CONTRACTS.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Synth Forge Studio Inc. from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights through content you submit to us without authorization.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario for disputes relating to these Terms or the Site, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
